"I haven't spoken to Eddie yet," Tindall revealed to Chronicle Live. "My phone's been buzzing since the final whistle, but I haven't had a chance to check it yet. If there's any news, the media team will let you know.
"Until I hear otherwise, I'm in charge, and I'll do what needs to be done," he added. "Eddie's recovery is the top priority. The more rest he gets, the quicker he'll be back leading the team."
Tindall also shared his thoughts with Sky Sports, saying, "Eddie's condition is day-by-day. He'll speak to me when he's ready. We've left it that way. He's in good hands, and the most important thing is he recovers and gets back to lead the team. It's been a while since we've worked together, and I miss him, especially on days like this."
