According to the agreement, Chelsea can sign Sancho for a fixed fee of £25 million, which Manchester United will receive. However, Chelsea can still decide not to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season and send Sancho back to Manchester United. If they choose to do so, they will have to pay a penalty fee of £5 million.
Chelsea's manager, Enzo Maresca, has stated that a final decision on Sancho's future will not be made until the end of the season.
