Nwaneri, who scored a goal in the match, praised his former academy teammate, saying he was "a top player" with sharp finishing skills.

He added that it was wonderful to see Butler-Oyedeji play in his first match, as they had been teammates for a few years in the academy.

Nwaneri was also pleased with his own performance, stating that he's happy with the number of goals he's scored this season and feels he brings value to the team with his goal-scoring and assisting abilities.
