According to sources, RB Leipzig has reached out to Liverpool to inquire about the availability of Elliott, who is also 22 years old.
In previous reports, it was mentioned that Liverpool was open to selling Elliott this summer, with a valuation of £40 million plus a buy-back option, or above £50 million without one.
Elliott played only two Premier League matches for Liverpool last season, both of which came after the team had already won the title.
