According to sources, RB Leipzig has reached out to Liverpool to inquire about Elliott's availability. Liverpool had previously indicated a willingness to sell the 22-year-old attacking midfielder. The club valued Elliott at £40 million plus a buy-back option, or £50 million without one.
Elliott played a limited role for Liverpool last season, starting only two Premier League matches. Both of these matches took place after the title had been secured.
