Iubel brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously worked as an assistant coach at Atletico Mineiro and held various coaching positions at other Brazilian clubs, including Vasco da Gama, Ceara, Bahia, Ponte Preta, Coritiba, Juventude, and Cuiaba.
As individual development lead coach, Iubel will work closely with the club's Academy coaches to provide a clear and joined-up pathway for young players, from the Kirkby training ground to loans and eventually to the senior team. He will also maintain direct contact with players who are developing away from the club.
This appointment is one of several recent changes to Liverpool's management team, which also includes Julian Ward, Pedro Marques, Richard Hughes, and Alex Inglethorpe.
