Calvert-Lewin returned to the negotiating table with Leeds after initially pricing himself out of a move to Elland Road last month. He had turned down a new contract offer from Everton as his deal expired at the end of last season.
It has been suggested that agents representing Calvert-Lewin also explored opportunities with clubs in Italy, but with little interest, the player agreed to re-engage in talks with Leeds.
