After a 5-0 loss at Villarreal last week, Girona is preparing to face Sevilla this weekend. Michel emphasized the importance of having a strong team spirit, with players who feel a sense of belonging and pride in representing the club.
"We need everyone to be on our side," Michel said. "There are many teams that have the same needs as us. We're not the same team we were two years ago, and that dream has passed."
Michel praised his captain, Cristhian Stuani, for his commitment to the team. "That's the good feeling everyone should have," he said.
Girona has six years of experience in the Primera Division, and Michel is clear about the team's objective: to continue competing at the top level and build a solid team.
"We need a solid structure and project," Michel said. "We have to be clear about our objective and message. We have to build a team with a top-level sense of belonging, with their minds here, and wearing the Girona shirt is the best thing for them."
