Ancelotti has been asked several times about his management style, with some critics suggesting that he is too soft. However, Ancelotti insists that he is not concerned about his position and is confident in the support of the club's board.
He explains that his approach is to understand each player as an individual, taking into account their personal qualities and actions outside of football. Ancelotti emphasizes that he has never been dealt with harshly himself, and therefore cannot use a similar approach with his players.
“I try to manage relationships in a way that reflects who I am,” Ancelotti says. “I’ve gotten angry many times this season, but that doesn’t mean I’ve been tougher. The key is to have respect and be respected.”
Ancelotti has a contract with Real Madrid until 2026 and is currently enjoying a successful spell at the club. He acknowledges that this season has been more challenging than previous ones, but is happy with the progress made so far.
“The honeymoon phase continues,” Ancelotti says. “I’m happy, and I’m not seeking revenge against anyone or anything. I love this bench, and I hope this can continue for as long as possible.”
