He was left out of the team's final two matches after a heated argument with then Brighton player Jan-Paul van Hecke during training.
From Chelsea's Club World Cup camp, Pedro explained that such incidents are common when players are highly competitive and passionate about winning.
"I think the people who know me understand my personality," he said.
"When two players are strongly motivated to succeed, these kinds of situations can occur. It's a normal part of the game."
Pedro emphasized that he has moved on from the incident and is now focused on his new team, Chelsea.
"I had a good experience at Brighton, but now I'm a part of Chelsea, and I'd like to concentrate on talking about my new team."
