Arsenal midfielder Mikel Merino expressed relief that he was not injured after a tackle by Chelsea's Moises Caicedo resulted in a red card.
Merino spoke to the media after the game which ended in a 1-1 draw between the two teams.
Caicedo's challenge on Merino was deemed a horrible foul and the Spanish midfielder acknowledged that he knew the referee would show the Chelsea player a red card.
