Scholes criticized Amorim's tactics, stating that they lack the flair and creativity that Manchester United is known for. He mentioned that the team's current style of play is too defensive and lacks the kind of skill and attacking prowess that the club is famous for.
Scholes also questioned the ability of Amorim and the board to understand the club's identity and the expectations of its fans. He pointed out that the club's staff, such as Omar Berrada and Jason Wilcox, may be excellent in their roles but may not have the same level of understanding and passion for the club as the fans do.
Scholes also expressed his disappointment that the team is not as aggressive and ruthless as it once was under his leadership. He recalled an instance where the team scored a goal and then sat back and defended, which was unlike the approach under his management.
Scholes feels that Amorim's approach is too cautious and does not reflect the club's history and values.
