The decision was made due to concerns about Dragusin's fitness level after he suffered an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) tear during a match against Elfsborg in the Europa League.
Dragusin, 23, has not participated in any competitive games since the injury and requires more time to recover.
The Romanian national team, led by manager Mircea Lucescu, had included Dragusin in their preliminary list of overseas-based players for upcoming matches against Moldova and Austria.
However, Tottenham's management has advised against Dragusin joining the national team, suggesting he needs additional time to regain full fitness.
Lucescu commented on the situation, stating that while Dragusin was enthusiastic about returning to the national team, the decision was made to prioritize his recovery and training with Tottenham.
