However, Davide held talks with Rangers and received interest from several European clubs. In the end, he chose to continue as his father's assistant coach with the Selecao.
When asked about his decision, Davide explained, "Coaching alone is my ultimate career goal. At the end of the season, my father offered me the opportunity to join him in Brazil, and I asked for some time to think about it and discuss with other clubs."
He continued, "I had some attractive offers, and after careful consideration, I felt that joining the Brazilian national team for the World Cup was the best choice for me. It's an incredible experience to be part of a team representing 200 million people."
Davide also mentioned that he's not focusing on his future plans, specifically the 2026 World Cup. Instead, he's concentrating on his daily life and will evaluate any new offers that come his way.
He expressed his enthusiasm for working with the CBF and learning about the Brazilian football scene. He's excited to learn a new language, get to know the players and professionals, and experience the championship at the highest level.
For now, Davide is fully committed to his role as his father's assistant coach and is looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that come with working with the Brazilian national team.
