At 27 years old, Eze has already proven himself to be a valuable asset for Palace, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists in 43 appearances across all competitions last season. While Palace would be sad to see him leave, Pardew believes that Eze could be a great fit for Tottenham, if he decides to leave the club.
"I think Eze will stay at Palace, and I don't see that as a bad thing," Pardew said. "He's a very calm and grounded individual who doesn't get stressed out by things. He's had a great season, and I'm sure he'll have another one just as good next year."
However, Pardew also acknowledged that Arsenal has a strong squad and could potentially win the league title with the right signings. He suggested that Eze might not be the key to their success, but rather a nice addition to their already talented team.
"If Arsenal gets the right number nine, they've got a great chance of winning the league," Pardew said. "I think Eze would be a great signing for Tottenham, but I don't think he's the missing piece for Arsenal."
Eze's contract with Palace includes a release clause of £67.5M, which is set to expire in 2027. He has already represented England on 12 occasions, scoring once for the national team. With Tottenham looking to strengthen their attack, Eze's signature could be a valuable addition to their squad.
